Sounds funnier than it is: Writer-Director Kevin Smith gets kicked off a Southwest flight due to his size. He then tweets, blogs about, and podcasts the news that he’s too fat. HA! But seriously, he says that Southwest Airlines is unfair to larger folk, starting a wildfire-esque discussion about the way overweight people are treated by society. Is this about the larger issue? Or just an angry and vitriolic Kevin Smith?
Either way, it’s great press for his new movie, Cop Out.
