I read this article a couple of weeks ago and thought it was interesting. It’s pretty sad that we have to make a case for Black History month. I have some interesting thoughts on this personally, but now’s not the time for one of my rants. Suffice it to say, that it is time to expand and celebrate Black History as American history.
Accomplishments by Black people should be celebrated by our entire society.

Black history will not recieve its proper due until America is ready to have an honest dialogue on race and not another speech titled “we shall overcome”

LOL!!!!!!! Great point sir! I wonder if we will ever get the honest dialogue that’s needed. What are we afraid of? It’s really interesting to see how far we have come, but we could go much farther, if we become serious about addressing the issues surrounding race in America. As always, I appreciate your comments. Keep dropping the “golden nuggets” on us.
