The biggest oil spills EVER

Right now, there’s so much press around the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico that we forget that this has happened before, in massive quantities, and with massive repercussions. Having said that, as a native of the area, I’m devastated and praying every day for an end to this catastrophe.

Looking at pictures of the 10 biggest oil spills ever makes me sad and oddly happy at the same time.

Everyone’s heard Fabrice Torres‘ name by now. Yeah, seems like the Fabulous Fab is a bit of a player (a nerdy one), and he’s talked himself up more than a little bit. It looks like the young Goldman banker will shoulder the brunt (or a large part of) the fault for Goldman’s current (self-inflicted) predicament, and you know what? I don’t pity him at all.

It seems that the FDA is planning on limiting the amount of salt in processed foods, and people all over America are going crazy! We’ve all eaten Spam, frozen waffles, and other junk since we were knee-high to a grasshopper, and we turned out fine, right?

After reading the articles below, I don’t know what to think; for sure there’s some drama in these articles. But if we read between the lines, isn’t it better to just go with all natural stuff, maybe with a fast food/processed food meal every now and again?

Reading about the Tea Party protests set for today, over the past year, and exactly one year ago, it seems that the Tea Party members almost relish in the animosity against them. With sob stories and whining about how they’re gonna get sucker punched when they go out there, or extreme defensiveness and a fighting stance against haters, today’s Tea Party only make themselves look like drama queens.

They need to take a page out of the book from the original Boston Tea Party – our first Tea Party was not a mob of angry citizens whipped into a frenzy, although the entire colonies were in support of it. The original Boston Tea Party was a covert plan played out by masked and costumed men – most of whom did not know who the others were – who risked being tried for treason.

Does it seem to anyone else that every time a man cheats on a woman, the woman he cheated with just seems…gross? Michelle “Bombshell” McGee (pictured), Rielle Hunter (yes, gross), almost all of Tiger’s mistresses, Hailey Glassman, Eliot Spitzer’s prostitute (we forget her name, but really, does anyone care?).

So…if these men have lovely, strong women by their sides, why would they cheat? But not just that – why would they cheat with such trashy women? Color me confused.
