Or will she help block California’s Proposition 8, refuse to expand minority rights, or encourage some other as-yet-unknown conservative proposal? (hello, Arizona!)

They’re putting an awful lot of pressure on her also; asking her to lead a group with all different ideals and values, from all different walks of life. Is anyone else afraid she’ll crack under the weight of these demands?

Let’s hope that Elena Kagan turns out to stick to her guns, whatever they may be.

Everyone’s heard Fabrice Torres‘ name by now. Yeah, seems like the Fabulous Fab is a bit of a player (a nerdy one), and he’s talked himself up more than a little bit. It looks like the young Goldman banker will shoulder the brunt (or a large part of) the fault for Goldman’s current (self-inflicted) predicament, and you know what? I don’t pity him at all.

Just because she can’t see through walls or breathe underwater or shoot lasers out of her eyes doesn’t mean that Hit Girl isn’t a bad ass superhero. From the trailers and what I can find online, she seems to be a whole new ball of wax for comic book-style crimefighters - Hit Girl kicks ass and takes names.

But what are parents going to think about an 11-year old using sailor-style profanity and slicing and dicing bad guys? Let’s hope they don’t make this into something more than what it is: a movie. Because I could use a little more Kick-Ass in my life.

Tiger Woods’ Nike commercial – let’s just say it already

With Tiger Woods returning to golf today in Augusta, it looks like Nike is giving a big push to the former multi-sponsor golden boy in the form of a commercial; a contrite-looking Tigey-poo listening to the voice(over) of his deceased father, Earl.

And the commercial is getting buzz. A lot of it. But here’s the thing: Every blog, news outlet, and article is saying, “Maybe this is ‘PR BS’…or maybe it’s true growth on Tiger’s part – WHAT DO YOU THINK?”

HELLO!? Why are we even asking this question? Are we trying to seem open-minded, politically correct, or acknowledging that to err is human? News flash: This is straight BS, created to make money. That’s it. Feel free to comment, but my mind is made up.
