Seriously, who does Lindsay Lohan think she is? Just because eTrade used the name “Lindsay” in a recent commercial in reference to a baby girl “milkaholic”, LiLo has thrown a $100 million fit in the form of a lawsuit, saying that anyone who hears the name “Lindsay” automatically thinks of the craptacular actress.

Sorry, doll, you’re no Madonna or Cher. Or Bjork, for that matter.

Recession affects public and private schools

So this article says that due to the recession, kids are being pulled out of expensive private schools cuz the parents can’t pay up. This means, among other things, that waaaay more kids are gonna be entering public schools. So why, then, are we CUTTING teachers and programs? We’ll be posting more info on the affects of the Great Recession on schools to come.

To no one’s surprise, sponsors are dropping Tiger Woods from their marketing campaigns. The surprising thing is how many companies are sticking with the recent magnet for bad press. From this angle, it’s not the fact that he committed the infidelities that’s so damaging to his sponsors, it’s the bad image that many Americans have when they hear his name or see his picture.
